Winter Song is the second of two pieces (see also Spring Song) written for cellist Matt Haimovitz’s THE PRIMAVERA PROJECT, a series of 81 world premieres for solo cello inspired by Botticelli’s painting Primavera and Charline von Heyl’s large-scale triptych Primavera 2020.
