On October 19, the American composer's ghostly double bill opens at the Kaye Playhouse in New York. Usher House and The Canterville Ghost feature libretto and score written by Gordon Getty, based on the stories by Edgar Allan Poe and Oscar Wilde.
David Murakami brings the eerie settings to life with dazzling projections to accompany Dave Dunning's scenery and Callie Floor's costumes. Brian Staufenbiel directs the double bill and Sara Jobin conducts the cast, which stars Dominic Armstrong, Keith Phares, Summer Hassan, Matthew Burns, Kevin Wetzel, and Jessica Ann Best.
