Cellist Matt Haimovitz’s PRIMAVERA II the rabbits is the second of six albums presenting his fascinating series of 81 world premieres for solo cello, THE PRIMAVERA PROJECT, which was inspired by Botticelli’s painting Primavera and Charline von Heyl’s large-scale triptych Primavera 2020. Gordon Getty’s contribution to this project is Spring Song, which Matt premiered at Festival Napa Valley in July 2021.
